Delete it yourself in the app

If you can sign in to the Tap Ads app, this is the quickest way:

1. Open the Tap Ads app and sign in.
2. Go to Account, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is closed straight away and your personal information is removed on the timeline below.

Can't sign in? Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app, were removed from a team, or can't sign in for any reason, email us and we'll handle the deletion for you:

So we can find the right account, please include:

• the email address or mobile number on the account;
• your business name; and
• the words "delete my account" in the subject so we can prioritise it.

We'll confirm your identity, action the deletion, and email you when it's done — within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted we remove the personal information we hold, including:

• your name, email address, mobile number and business address;
• your sign-in credentials;
• the verification photos you submitted from the app; and
• your reward points balance and profile.

What we have to keep

Some records can't be deleted straight away because Australian law requires us to keep them:

• Payment and tax records — details of rebates we paid you, and the matching tax invoices, are kept for seven years after your last payment, as required by Australian tax record-keeping rules.
• Your bank account number is retained as part of those payment records for the same period, then removed.

Once those legal retention periods pass, the remaining records are deleted too. We never keep your information longer than we're required to.
